I am an Archicad expert

Archicad has been my main tool since 2004. Yes, that's over twenty years. I try to make the most of it. I follow its development, I am inspired by other users from all over the world.

I share my know-how openly

 

For many years I have been regularly publishing content on YouTube and social networks and communicating on discussion platforms under the ardit brand. For many followers, my channels are the primary source of information and tips about using Archicad, AI tools, and BIM as such.

I am a practicing architect and designer...

 

I design, project, and according to my projects, they are actually built. I have completed over 100 projects of all stages and scales. I therefore assess the use of digital tools and BIM from the point of view of real practice. I only consult what I actually do.

...but I also have a view from the "other side"

From September 2022 to the end of 2023, I worked as a consultant at BIM Consulting. That is why I also have practical experience in roles on the side of contracting authorities and coordinators. I am one of the initiators of the activities that led to the founding of the association of consultants in the construction industry - SPOKS. I maintain contacts with excellent BIM consultants.

I join the discourse

I follow domestic and international events. I often publish on social networks, my posts cause reactions. I am of the opinion that an honest and open discussion is necessary for the promotion of digital technologies and the implementation of the BIM method.

I have the highest Archicad certification

In 2021, I completed several months of intensive training and, as one of the few in the Czech Republic, I received the GRAPHISOFT Certified Archicad BIM Manager certification. This gives me access to an international community of Archciad's most experienced users and BIM managers.

I'm still ahead

In 2021, I was probably the first in the Czech Republic to receive the Foundation Basic level buildingSMART certification. Subsequently, I helped with the preparation of training courses in the Czech Republic. At the same time, I began intensively publishing topics related to information management according to international standards ISO 19650, the basic concepts and principles of which are starting to appear in procurement documentation and methodologies recently.

I believe in the principles of openBIM

I have long believed that for effective BIM it is advisable to use the open standards of the organization buldingSMART International. I follow them and find my way around them. I know the technical principles of the IFC scheme for transferring information. Tell me IFC doesn't work - and I'll be more than happy to tell you the truth.

Solving specific problems moves me forward the most. I am therefore glad that, thanks to my various publishing activities, colleagues are constantly turning to me with often complicated questions. During four semesters in the period 2022–2024, I consulted archicad challenges with dozens of students in the Tesař-Barla studio at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University.

I am the forgotten child in the toy store

If I didn't have to do what I do for a living, I'd still be doing it. I enjoy architecture, digital technology and BIM. In the last three years, I have been in a constant state of flux thanks to the rapid onset of AI technologies. I like change and always new tools and procedures. And I like to transfer my enthusiasm to others.
